This workshop offers a glimpse into creative photography, encouraging you to see beyond the obvious, break conventions, and, above all, create with joy and emotion.
You'll learn how to get creative with the way you look at ordinary objects, and learn techniques for cameras and editing tools to achieve layered abstractions in photographs.
No prior photography experience is required for this workshop.
Examples of Mili Vishwakarma's work can be seen at the current Artist of the Corridor exhibit in the Library and City building. The exhibit, Musings, presents photographs taken over seasons using creative photography techniques to bring out the colors, patterns, textures, and moods. The images invite viewers to slow down, notice transitions, and find meaning in both movement and stillness. Just as nature continually renews itself, the exhibition suggests that life, too, is shaped by change, resilience, and quiet moments of becoming.
Conveniently located at the corner of Race and Green in downtown Urbana.
