Cherié Weible's presentation will focus on underused resources for identifying service members during WWI. It will also discuss how these resources can be used to identify other family members and provide connections between records and people.
Cherié Weible is the Head Central Access Services Librarian for the University Library at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a long-time Champaign County Genealogical Society member, author, and experienced researcher. Her interests include family histories, source citations for genealogists, military records for the Civil War, WWI, and WWII, newspaper research, state census records, and creating timelines.
