A registration-only, 6-week beginning quilting class for students who know how to sew.
This is a registration-only, beginning 6-week quilting class for students who know how to sew. Participants must be able to thread a sewing machine, fill a bobbin, change the needle, and sew a seam. Participants will learn 6 basic quilting blocks (one each week), with variations. At the end of the course, each participant will have made 10-11 9 ½ inch blocks that can be assembled into a quilt outside of class.
The class instructor, Viki Johnson, has been sewing since childhood and quilting for 25 years. She has made over 500 quilts and quilt-y items and has been a quilt show judge.
