Join Artist-in-Residence Curtis Chung for this workshop designed for children grades K-5, which will explore the idea of place with graphite and colored pencil.

Curtis is serving as the first Artist-in-Residence at The Urbana Free Library from October - December 2024 and is passionate about sharing the transformative power of art. An award-winning artist for drawing and creating hyperrealistic portraits using graphite and other mediums, he is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.A. in General Studio Art and a minor in Art History. Currently, he is pursuing an M.A. in Art Education.
