Join the Champaign County Genealogical Society for an oral history workshop led by Bethany Anderson.
Even though the pandemic is keeping us apart from many of our loved ones, we can still take time to call or virtually meet with them. Now is a good time to obtain and preserve your family's oral history and keep your family connections strong. At this meeting, Bethany Anderson, Assistant Professor, Natural and Applied Sciences Archivist from the University of Illinois will discuss ways in which you can accomplish this goal for the New Year!
Bethany works with units across the University of Illinois campus to document the scientific enterprise. She is especially interested in documenting women in science and technology, oral history, and exploring new technologies for creating access to and preserving archival materials. On this night, she will be providing an overview of oral history methods and resources.
Conveniently located at the corner of Race and Green in downtown Urbana.
