Live music at the Library!
Join us for live music with The Young and the Fretless. The group performs old-time Appalachian Mountain fiddle tunes and songs for dances, festivals, and special events in the great prairie state of Illinois. The band members are Lyle Konigsberg (fiddle), Tom Bassett (fretless banjo), Rolf Pendall (guitar) and Rebecca Grosser (bass). The Young and Fretless say that they hope their "driving, rhythmic sound will make everyone want to jump up and dance!" The band’s most recent CD is Ain't Gonna Work Tomorrow.
