Live, local music at the Library!
Come enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Parkland Guitar Ensemble. The group plays a wide variety of music including classical, folk, jazz, pop, and world music composed and arranged for four or more guitars. All ages are welcome!
The ensemble is led by Dr. Young Kim and meets once a week on Wednesdays, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Parkland College. Students and community members who are interested in reading music, improvisation, and playing in an ensemble are encouraged to join.
UFLive! concerts take place on the third Sunday of most months and are made possible through the generous support of The Urbana Free Library Foundation. (*This month's concert is on the fourth Sunday, due to Spring Break.)
