Connor Monson of The Champaign County Newspaper Digitization Initiative (CCNDI) will discuss this important initiative, which seeks to expand the geographical range of historical newspaper coverage within the county. He will also demonstrate how volunteers can help improve access and searchability by transcribing newspaper text.
Connor Monson is a co-founder of CCNDI and has a Master's of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Illinois and an MS in History from Illinois State University.
