Library Card Sign-Up Month Picture Raffle

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month.

To celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month, we're holding a raffle contest!  Submit a picture of something you've done using an item you've checked out with your library card for a chance to win a 4K Fire TV Stick. You could take a picture of food cooked using a recipe from a library book, a craft found in a book or made using library equipment, you/your pet reading a library book, etc. The possibilities are endless! 

You can enter by submitting a picture, your name, and contact information to programming@urbanafree.org, by posting the picture on Facebook and tagging the Library, or by posting the picture on Instagram with the hashtag #LibraryCardTUFL. We'll share entries on social media so everyone can enjoy them!  One entry per picture.  One picture per project.  The winner will be chosen by raffle on October 1st. 

Don't have a library card? 

• Urbana residents can come to the Library anytime it's open to sign up, or register for an eCard online here! 
• If you're not an Urbana resident, look for the Library serving your area on the Illinois Library Services Area Map.  Once you have a library card from your home library, you can sign up to be a reciprocal borrower, and use your home card to checkout materials at The Urbana Free Library.
