Come learn what makes a great story!
Join us for the next installment of our Young Artist’s Studio featuring master storyteller, Dawn Blackman, who will introduce our young participants to the art of storytelling! We'll explore the elements of good storytelling and what makes a compelling story. Each young participant will have a chance to create their own stories and practice in telling them to a live audience!
The Young Artist's Studio is a series of art workshops sponsored by The Urbana Free Library and The Urbana Arts & Culture Program designed to offer youth an opportunity to explore the arts. All events in the series are free and open to the public. The series is designed for children ages 5 to 11 (7 and under with a caregiver)
We can’t wait to see you there! Please register here through the Library’s event calendar. We’ll email a link and a phone number to the email you provide in your registration so that you can join us online with Zoom.
Though this program is online, the Library reminds everyone to be as courteous and kind as they would be at a program in the Library.
