Luis Ariel Rivera, a native of the Bronx, New York, has been a professional genealogist since 2020, but has been researching his family's roots in Puerto Rico since 2004. His expertise lies in Puerto Rican research, as well as in Latin America, the Spanish and French Caribbean, and Western and Southern Europe. Luis earned a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and has also studied with ProGen Study Groups and GenProof Study Groups.

Luis Ariel Rivera, originario del Bronx, Nueva York, es genealogista profesional desde 2020, pero lleva investigando las raíces de su familia en Puerto Rico desde 2004. Su especialidad es la investigación genealógica puertorriqueña, así como la de Latinoamérica, el Caribe hispanohablante y francés, y Europa occidental y meridional. Luis obtuvo un Certificado en Investigación Genealógica de la Universidad de Boston y también ha estudiado con los grupos de estudio ProGen y GenProof.
