About the Artist: Nicole Anderson-Cobb, PhD, is a playwright & painter who uses watercolor, collage, dried plants, and found objects as her preferred mediums to express her interests. She has found that deploying watercolor and collage creates more interesting, multi-layered expressions of work. She also uses portions of remnants and discarded work with other painters in classes and workshops that she teaches to inspire others in their own painting. Her work has been featured in exhibits across the country, and currently, one of her paintings, "Allerton 2022: LB At The Sangamon" is being featured in Parkland's upcoming Around The Block Artists From Our Neighborhood, June 9-July 25 at Parkland College Giertz Gallery.
