Live music at the Library!
We're celebrating the 10th season of the CU Jazz Fest! You're invited to come enjoy the Latin American Ensemble's vibrant melodies and amazing rhythms. This performance group from the University of Illinois performs Latin American music from all over the Americas, including North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. Bring a friend and join us (and if you find yourself dancing or swaying along to the music, we won't mind)!
The group is directed by Dr. Guido Sánchez-Portuguez, an accomplished musician, educator, and guitar professor at the University of Illinois School of Music. He continues to compose and perform both locally and internationally.
