Join students and faculty from the School of Music at the University of Illinois for a lively all-ages concert of Brazilian music to celebrate an exhibition of local student art inspired by Brazil.
In celebration of the art exhibition, the students and faculty from the School of Music at the University of Illinois will perform a variety of music by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos. Art exhibition open March 1-3.
This program is part of "A Tribute to Villa-Lobos and Jobim" at The University of Illinois, under the direction of Professor lura de Rezende and is presented in partnership with the School of Music, the Lemann Center for Brazilian Studies, and students and art teachers from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Thomas Paine Elementary Schools of Urbana School District 116.
