Discover tricks to Scottish genealogy!
Do you have Scottish ancestors? There are dozens of sites available to help you in your Scottish research; ScotlandsPeople is just the tip of the iceberg! Sites like GenUKI, ScotlandsPlaces, SCAN, and the National Library of Scotland are all free websites available to you from ‘across the pond.’ This April, Tina Beaird, genealogist, librarian, and founder of tamarackgenealogy.com, will help us navigate these valuable resources.
The presentation will begin at 7:00 pm (CST). Want some extra time to talk about genealogy? Log on as early as 6:30pm to socialize with other family historians. There will be a society business meeting immediately following the presentation. A recording of the presentation will be made available to CCGS members following the event.
Co-sponsored by the Champaign County Genealogical Society.
