Discover what the Genealogical Society has to offer!
The Champaign County Genealogical Society has been active since 1969, and even though they have gone through many changes over the years, their mission has always been the same. To promote genealogical and historical research; to aid in the publication and preservation of genealogical and historical records and manuscripts; and to provide programs designed to assist both the beginning and the advanced genealogist.
For this meeting, society members will take you through their website in real-time to uncover some of the treasures that members have access to and may not even realize it. They will discuss how the society may be able to benefit your research and get feedback on what members (and potential members) would like to see from the society in the future. Come join us for this informative (and fun) meeting.
The presentation will begin at 7:00 pm (CDT). Want some extra time to talk about genealogy? Log on as early as 6:30pm to socialize and get to know other family historians in the group.
Co-sponsored by the Champaign County Genealogical Society.
Conveniently located at the corner of Race and Green in downtown Urbana.
