Join Urbana Arts and Culture Staff for an introduction to the art of mosaics.
Join us for the next installment of our Young Artist's Studio featuring staff from the City of Urbana Arts & Culture Program who will introduce our young participants to the art of mosaics! We'll learn the history of mosaics and then make our own paper versions. After registering online, you may pick up your craft packet beginning September 11 by stopping by the Circulation Desk or calling Curbside Pick up at 367-4057.
The Young Artist's Studio is a series of art workshops sponsored by The Urbana Free Library and The City of Urbana Arts & Culture Program designed to offer youth an opportunity to explore the arts. All events in the series are free and open to the public. The series is designed for children ages 5 to 11 (7 and under with a caregiver.)
We can't wait to see you there! Please register here through the Library's event calendar. We'll email a link and a phone number to the email you provide in your registration so that you can join us online with Zoom.
Though this program is online, the Library reminds everyone to be as courteous and kind as they would be at a program in the Library.
Conveniently located at the corner of Race and Green in downtown Urbana.
