Short, restorative weekly yoga and mindfulness sessions
Take 15 minutes to calm and re-center with gentle stretching and meditation. In stressful times your body and mind deserve a chance to feel restored. Join us! Wear comfortable clothing and plan to be seated in a chair (preferably firm) that has no arms. This relaxing practice requires no special equipment and can be adapted to your own abilities.
Robin Goettel is a certified Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga instructor and has practiced and studied a variety of styles of yoga for 40 years. She also participated in the UI Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy course. She has a passion for promoting health and wellness and has taught chair yoga throughout the CU area.
