6th Annual CU Jazz Festival goes virtual
This fall marks the sixth season of the CU Jazz Festival, bringing together audiences and high quality jazz experiences. This year, we invite you to enjoy an online performance by Melvin Knight. Knight brings his personal touch for creating and elevating melodies, inside relatable lyrics all within an infectious energy. Don't miss your chance to hear some of the best crooning this city can offer.
Melvin Knight, born in Champaign Illinois to musicians Dr. Barrington Coleman and Cynthia Haymon-Coleman, is a character developed by the artist to serve as a characterization of his spiritual journey. A man out of time, making his way through a world of sound, trying to find a healthy blend of the old and the new.
Tune in here to watch.
