Artist of the Corridor
The City of Urbana's Arts and Culture Program and The Urbana Free Library invite you to an Artist’s Panel for LINOLEUM & INK, an Artist of the Corridor Exhibition of works by UHS students on display June-August 2019! The panel will be moderated by Artist, Lisa Kesler and Arts & Culture Coordinator, Rachel Storm; and feature four participating Urbana High School student artists. Free and open to the public!
LINOLEUM & INK is an exhibition of prints created by Urbana High School art students in collaboration with Artist-in-Residence, Lisa Kesler. Forty student artists participated in a 3-week intensive in linoleum block printmaking and reduction printing with the artist, creating their own work in the process. Created works will be on display as part of Artist of the Corridor, a dual-site exhibition series jointly sponsored by The City of Urbana’s Arts and Culture Program and The Urbana Free Library.
